What is an Ignite Grant?
Ignite grants are more than financial help; they are intended to promote the kind of collaboration that honors what God is doing inside and outside the Church. The intention is for congregations and their partners to invite Ignite, on behalf of the New Castle Presbytery, into partnership in order that mission and ministry might grow and be strengthened in Christ’s name.
How Do I Apply?

Is There a Deadline for Grants?
There is no deadline for grants. You still have to do the application; there’s just no specific due date. The Ignite Team wants to allow the time necessary to ensure your applications are answering all of the questions that enable them to evaluate how what you’re planning to do is in accord with the purpose of Ignite grants. Ignite will strive to respond to applications within 30-60 days.
What If My Grant Was Not Approved?
If there are any problems with a grant submission, the Ignite team will return the applicant to make the necessary corrections. Unlike the past, applicants will not have to wait until the next fiscal year to submit their revised grant.
When Will Applicants Know at What Funding Level Their Grant Has Been Funded?
Ignite hopes to be able to fund all approved projects in 2019 but release of funds will be constrained by the number of projects that are approved, the funding levels for these projects, funding priorities, and the amount of money available for grants.
