Seven times, with an extra oomph the last time, God sees that the unfolding of creation is good. Of course, with seven being the biblical number associated with perfection, I believe we're meant to understand that creation was perfectly good, but that's not what I want to focus on here.

No, in this Pause, I want to stop and wonder what the Bible means, and what we mean, when we say that God saw creation was good.
