November 20, 2025 Presbytery Pause (CKohlmann) - One of the late fall gatherings I try to attend each year is the Mid Council Financial Network, a fantastic opportunity to meet with colleagues, hear updates about tax law and cybersecurity, and be introduced to essential partners for the work of ministry. This year, I was invited to offer the devotion on Friday morning, so this Pause is based on that.

Given the focus of the gathering, and the season of gratitude and hope we’re in, I centered my comments around a few familiar verses of scripture and an old Latin hymn.

The hymn is Ubi Caritas, which is translated in the Glory to God hymnal as “Live in charity and steadfast love. Live in charity; God will dwell with you.”
