Third Thursday Trainings
Join NCP’s Connectional Presbyter/Stated Clerk, Rev. Cindy Kohlmann the third Thursday of the month UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED via Zoom for a monthly education/training opportunity for elders and deacons. The topics will change from month-to-month and will be recorded. Zoom access is located on the Presbytery calendar by clicking on the event name.

Healthy Boundaries
In accordance with New Castle Presbytery’s Prevention of Sexual Misconduct Policy, every three years all minister members and CREs of the Presbytery shall also attend refresher training on the subject of prevention of clergy sexual misconduct. Such training will be offered at several locations across the Presbytery, or may be taken through another source satisfactory to the Committee on Ministers & Congregations. Anti Racism Training
As part of our commitment to dismantle structural racism, various anti-racism trainings are offered throughout the year. See below for current opportunities!
Compliance Training for Spring 2023
NCP minister members, CREs and members of the Commission on Ministers & Congregations (COMC) and Commission on Preparation for Missional Ministry (CPMM) are mandated to complete Anti-Racism Training every three years. The requirement is identified within the Dismantling Racism Policy of the NCP Manual.
An upcoming education series sponsored by New Castle Presbytery, YWCA, Racial Justice & Reconciliation Commission in the Episcopal Church of Delaware and the Peace & Justice Work Group of Westminster-Wilmington titled "Racism in America - The History We Didn't Learn in School" will provide training for NCP compliance. The six-week training commences Tuesday, April 18 at 7:00 p.m. and continues each Tuesday through May 23. (View program details on the images attached.)
