Education Time at September Presbytery

September 21, 2024 Presbytery Meeting - During our education time, Fr. Shannon TL Kearns, transgender man, priest and theologian will present "Reading from The Margins": sharing stories from Scripture, including some transgender readings of those stories to point the way forward for a more robust conversation on transgender and nonbinary identities. What can non-transgender people learn from reading and engaging with theology by transgender and theologians? How might a "reading from the margins" open up a liberatory space for all people?


Plan to attend the September Presbytery meeting and access the Presbytery Assembly webpage for additional information, including registration.
