Annual Bay Retreat

Theme: "On Your Marks. Get Set. Go!"

The coordination of the retreat planning team is moving quickly with retreat registration opening in early January. This event is earmarked for ministry leaders, however incorporates joy, confidence, authenticity and coaching for all PC(USA) members. Yes, that means clergy, ruling elders, deacons and members alike!

  • The Seven Joyful marks of Vital Congregations: creative brainstorming and sharing of inspiration.

  • Joy as resistance: In a world full of disheartening news, joy is not frivolous but necessary.

  • Confidence comes with practice: Playful improvisation can teach skills that translate into powerful resilience, creativity and nimbleness in our churches.

Opening Code Purple to Help Homeless through Winter



According to the National Alliance to End Homelessness, there are nearly 1,100 people who are homeless in Delaware each night. Georgetown PC is now geared up for its shelter to open. View the December 1, 2022 video from WRDE below.
